THE NUMBERS

According to the Department of Homeland Security, 500,000 LPRs (Legal Permanent Residents or greencard holders) live in NJ. Only four states have higher shares of LPRs. To date, Citizenship Rutgers’ corps of experienced immigration attorneys and specially-trained volunteers have assisted more than 250 prospective U.S. citizens from 50 nations.
